Trinity Lutheran Preschool and Child Care Center has a part-time position available for a Lead Teacher in Toddler program. We are looking for an individual with an Associate’s degree (or higher) in early childhood education along with special course work/training in working with toddlers. We seek loving Christian adults to interact with and provide quality care for young children. The Lead Teacher plans, prepares, and implements an appropriate daily schedule, age- appropriate lesson plans, and learning activities for our 2 year old toddlers. This teacher also oversees the toddler 2 program, classroom organization and environment, and staff assigned to the toddler room.  Lead teacher responsibilities include playful interactions and discussions with children, working with children at center activities and inside and outside play times, helping children with snacks and meals, assisting children with daily tasks and needs, and performing general housekeeping chores to maintain a clean and attractive room. The Lead teacher is responsible for communicating with parents including a weekly newsletter. The teacher needs to be mobile and able to lift small children and classroom items.
