Parties & Events Coordinator and Teacher
Imagine That! and Future Tech has an immediate opening for a year-round Parties and Events Coordinator and Teacher. We offer outstanding STEAM after school classes, summer camps, in-house field trips, and birthday parties to children aged 4 to 14. Imagine That! is the premier provider of science, art, technology, Minecraft, and robotics programs throughout the Atlanta metro area.
As a key member of our marketing and education team, the Parties and Events Coordinator will handle the booking, coordinating, and execution of all Birthday Parties and Events to ensure that our clients and students receive the highest quality of customer service, a fun learning experience, and a lasting positive impression. Our successful candidate will have a true love for the educational development of children, the ability to be theatrical and engaging, the winningness and desire to work on weekends, and the ability to build professional relationships with clients.
Key responsibilities are the booking and scheduling of parties and events; hosting the parties and events, which can be located either at our office location or at the destination of our client's choosing; teaching after school classes 3-4 days a week; and assisting our Accounts Manager and Senior Administrator with day to day office tasks such as answering phones and emails, and filing and organizing. Qualifications:
- Experience working with children between the ages of 4 and 14

- Ability to effectively manage to deadlines
- Can effectively handle unexpected urgencies
- Personal, reliable transportation
- Have basic knowledge and understanding of how to use Gmail and Google Drive (preferred)
- Instructors must pass the Fulton or Dekalb County School District fingerprint background check.
Compensation:
Starting salary is $10 an hour. Pay for teaching after school classes, birthday parties, and events is paid at a contracted rate starting at $30/hour.
