Information Technology Programmer/Analyst 12

This position is assigned senior Information Technology business analyst duties for high priority assignments and projects for the Michigan Department Health and Human Services.  This position will be responsible for triage across the Medicaid Enterprise collaborating with technical support teams, vendor partners and business partners. This position will identify impact, root cause, and potential interim processes collaborating with technical support teams, vendor partners and business partners. This position will be responsible for helping to define and document requirements and design for the integration of Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS), Center for Medicaid Services (CMS) and MDHHS systems for the eligibility and enrollment of the Medicaid/CHIP Programs. This position will be responsible for working with each project team across multiple departments to help define solutions for new initiatives and defects. This position will help identify impacts and risks associated with any issues in coordination with business partners and each project team. This position will provide direction to the multiple project teams and ensure consistency across the Eligibility Enterprise.  This position functions as a Sr. Business Analyst. This position is not a programmer/developer position.

 

Required Education and Experience

Education-

Possession of a bachelor's degree with 21 semester (32 term) credits in computer science, data processing, computer information, data communications, networking, systems analysis, computer programming, or mathematics.

Experience-

Three years of professional experience equivalent to an Information Technology Infrastructure or Programmer/Analyst P11.
