Sales Development Representative

The Scoop:

RunTitle is an Austin-based venture-backed enterprise software company innovating within the 100 year-old oil & gas title industry. We're looking for someone who is eager to disrupt an extremely archaic industry, but also enjoys startup perks, happy hours, and afternoon ping pong showdowns. We're a small but quickly growing team, so every single person here has a mission critical impact on our business.

As the foundation of the Sales team, you'll be responsible for managing all of RunTitle's inbound/outbound lead generation and opportunity creation. This includes prospecting, qualifying, nurturing, and most important of all -- selling. You'll work side-by-side with the Head of Sales to develop scalable processes, manage lead lists, oversee re-marketing campaigns, etc. As a true business consultant, you'll need to quickly learn the basics of the upstream oil & gas industry on top of the RunTitle value proposition. After 90 days, you’ll have the opportunity to run the sales cycle from start to finish and begin closing your own business. After a year or less, you'll have the opportunity to join the sales team as an Account Executive or shift into a marketing-focused role.


Responsibilities:

- Drive RunTitle’s revenue growth through outreach emails and phone calls with a focus on generating opportunities and setting follow-up meetings for account executives

- Create targeted and thoughtful email/phone campaigns for specific regions

- Research contact information and relevant background info for prospects

- Prospect, cold call, and identify new opportunities

- Educate prospects on RunTitle’s value proposition

- Nurture existing leads with strategic re-marketing campaigns

- Work closely with Head of Sales on various projects and initiatives

- Proficient in MS Office and Google Apps

- Intelligent with very strong written and verbal communication skills

- Hungry, competitive, and optimistic, with an unrelenting drive to succeed

Nice-to-haves:

- Proficient in CRMs like Salesforce and marketing automation tools like Marketo or Pardot

- You had a lemonade stand as a kid or sold coupon books door-to-door

- Oil & Gas knowledge
