Industrial Engineer Internship

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

-Continue current efforts with implementing, improving and sustaining 5S-Waste Walks.

-Lean Implementation- Assist with time studies required for material flowing thru the kitting and brake areas.

-Lean Implementation- Be an active member of the Lean Teams and provide assistance as requested.

-Lean Implementation- Assist with maintaining our PFEP and growing it to other value streams.

-Lean Cost Save Validation- Assist with determining what our cost saves are by taking before and after measurements, pictures, time studies, etc.

-Warehouse Consolidation- Assist with determining new floor plans and implementation.

-Other duties may be requested by Manager.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION

• Currently enrolled in related college courses

EXPERIENCE

• Previous warehouse or operations experience not required but would be a plus
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong organizational skills
• Proficient in Microsoft word, Powerpoint and Excel
