We are recruiting for the position of Sales & Marketing Specialist to support sales growth strategies.  Our customers include hardware stores, home improvement retailers and plumbing wholesalers. We are growing and need your expertise. This position will support the retail aftermarket channels of distribution. Please note that travel is up to 30% during peak travel seasons, so candidates must be open to flexible travel schedules.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Represent Lavelle Industries at customer and industry tradeshows
•  Act as master trainer for customer training events
• Develop “Genius” level toilet repair knowledge
• Execute promotional plans through customer promotional vehicles, such as cross-merchandising, end caps and side stack displays
• Provide support to the internal sales team by development of presentation and sales support materials
• Analyze vendor performance metrics and drive continuous improvement efforts
• Develop marketing support and materials tailored to our customers

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor’s Degree focus in Sales, Marketing, Finance, Engineering or Business preferred
• Effective communication — written and oral
• Relevant internships and project work
• Sales and/or Marketing experience a plus
• Experience supporting aftermarket hardware accounts is a major plus!
