Interactive Designer

Parachute Health Solutions—a growing healthcare IT startup—is searching for talented interactive designers to join our team. We’re looking for exceptional multi-disciplinary designers to help develop and distinguish Parachute’s emerging product portfolio and brand position from our competitors. Our ideal candidates have a strong design background, experience building web applications, and a passion for healthcare reform.

As an interactive designer, you will be instrumental in the design and development of Parachute’s suite of healthcare-focused web applications. You will contribute to pixel-perfect UI/ UX design, front-end development, brand strategy, and creative direction.

As an integral member of our team, you’ll be relied on to:

●     Collaborate closely with Parachute’s software development team to design and develop responsive end-user interfaces using single page application and CSS frameworks

●     Use industry-standard design tools to wireframe and prototype user experiences and interfaces

●     Analyze user flows and feedback to refine interfaces

●     Develop and maintain design standards and UI patterns

●     Help produce branded communications and marketing materials detailing product strategy and features.

●     Help guide creative direction and branding of the company including maintaining company website

Required Skills:

●     An academic and/or professional background in interaction design, visual communications, or a related field

●     A strong portfolio with examples of your outstanding work

●     A deep understanding of UI/UX concepts and best practices

●     Responsive web design experience including website and web application development using a modern grid framework or custom styling
