Portuguese and Spanish-Speaking Client Service Manager

The CSM is critical to Mintel’s team approach in servicing, retaining, growing and securing current and future clients. The ideal candidate is a highly motivated self-starter who relishes taking ownership of the job at hand. This trilingual position (Spanish, English and Portuguese) will enable Mintel’s Latin American sales team to deliver / showcase the full value of Mintel’s solutions to current customers and new prospects.

Commercially, the Client Development Manager is responsible for partnering with Account Managers in servicing clients, ensuring strong retention and facilitating growth within our client portfolio. In partnership with Mintel stakeholders, this individual is expected to leverage strong interpersonal and analytical skills to train our clients, drive further awareness of Mintel’s solutions and deliver value through insights. The CSM is expected to provide timely and thorough responses to ad-hoc client research requests by engaging all appropriate Mintel assets.

Responsibilities:

  • Synthesize data from internal products and services while providing analysis and insightful commentary in response to specific client requests
  • Collaborate with Account Managers on all key initiatives and provide support as appropriate
  • Train new users and further engage current users to broaden awareness of Mintel solutions
  • Present trend analysis to clients via web-based tools and, possibly, on-site meetings as appropriate
  • Conduct translations of appropriate US presentations to adapt to Latin and South American market
  • Engage with clients to gather feedback and understand business objectives
  • Strategize on best client service practices for the Latin American market to drive up renewal rates

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Bilingual in Spanish and Portuguese required (must be able to read, write, and converse)
  • Native or bilingual proficiency in English
  • Minimum 1+ years proven sales and/or client service experience
  • Intermediate proficiency in the Microsoft Suite, particularly PowerPoint and Excel
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills coupled with impeccable organizational, analytical, and planning skills
  • Passion around expanding client relationships and excellence in maximizing account potential
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, collaborative, team oriented environment
