Business Development Associate (Inside Sales) - Chicago

Competitive base salary + uncapped commission 

Rapidly growing fee-only registered investment advisor seeks college graduates (or seniors on track to graduate this winter/next spring) for an entry-level/junior inside sales role. We’re seeking candidates that have gained leadership experience through on-campus organizations (Greek Life, athletics, etc.) and held internships/positions in sales/marketing. Must have competitive drive and love working with people. There are opportunities within the inside sales team for those interested in a wealth management career and multiple paths to advance. Warm leads to develop new sales opportunities and relationships will be provided.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up/outbound warm calls and emails

Understand customer needs/requirements

Route qualified opportunities to appropriate outside sales executives for further development/closure

Close sales and achieve quarterly quotas

Research accounts, identify suitable plans and generate interest

Maintain/expand your database of prospects within assigned territory

Team with channel partners to build pipeline/close deals

Utilize relationship-based sales approach to build lasting business

Develop new business relationships and actively maintain network of clients

 

REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor’s degree (or on track to graduate in Winter 2016/Spring 2017) required

Comfortable making 100+ calls a day

Strong communication and time management skills

Team player

Results-oriented, competitive, social and able to work in a fast-paced environment
