Intern, Feedstock Development

POSITION PURPOSE:

The purpose of this position is to assist in the analysis of the existing purchasing projects as well as assist in the evaluation of potential business development opportunities and commercial operations.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Analysis Function

• Perform business unit and financial analysis
• Relate profitability, input costs, and strategic planning

Special Projects

• Design and implementation of key business projects

• Conduct research on commodities and trends
• Analyzing research results – both quantitatively and qualitatively, in written and presentation form
• Formulating a recommendation based upon your analysis
• Properly documenting and supporting your research and analysis
• Develop materials for internal and external meetings

Other frequent duties:

Collection of published data related to commodity trading
Assembly of market intelligence from industry professionals
Operations work including facilitating analysis of sampling and vendor documentation
