Sioux City, IA - North Designer &; Sioux City, IA - North Career Opportunity. Develop innovative structural designs that are consumer appealing and at the same time cost effective, easy to set-up and structurally sound. Creates drawings and specifications for new structural packaging components working with internal and external customers. Ensures projects are completed in a timely manner and according to the provided schedule. Works with Sales, Quality Control and Production staff to resolve issues with non-conforming materials and/or breakdowns in processes.
What you need to succeed: Strong written and verbal communication skills, Solid computer literacy in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc. Foundational knowledge and experience in package structure and materials, package process methods, and machinery automation (Structural Design/ArtoisCad, Cape experience a plus). Foundational design and technical support experience. Minimum 2 years with Associate Degree or Bacherlors Degress a plus. Self-motivated and disciplined and professional.
