Business Analyst

Product Support:
  • Update and organize specific datasets to be provided to prospective and current customers
  • Perform customer requested analysis on SMA sentiment metrics to calculate ROI, P&L and related visuals (scatter plots, turnover etc.)
  • Work with customers to ensure the successful implementation of Social Market Analytics Data and API’s
  • Ensure and track regular contact with customers
  • Track customer request for new product features and work with development to ensure successful implementation
  • Track customer retention metrics and work with sales for increasing customer retention
Sales:
  • Proactive follow-up on sales opportunities as trials and negotiations progress
  • Development/maintenance of marketing materials
  • Liaison to SMA resources for institutional clients and channel partners
  • Initial support of retail product launch
Position Requirements
  • Master’s Degree in Business – Finance or Economics majors are preferred, but all will be considered
  • 1-2 years’ experience in Financial Services, Consulting, or Accounting
  • Basic experience in statistical analysis and database management (SQL)
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel (VBA is a plus)
  • Proficient Knowledge of statistical manipulation tools (R, Python etc)
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) with polished presentation ability
  • Flexibility to adapt in a rapidly changing work environment, ability to prioritize and manage several different tasks at once
