Program Manager

This is a dynamic, multi-functional position that involves elements of marketing, business development, consulting, sales, communication, and customer engagement roles.  This position will involve building new client relationships, leading internal teams, developing a macro-market strategy, facilitating industry events, identifying opportunities to serve prospective client missions, and facilitating internal communication efforts with marketing, performance assurance, and management. This position will report to, and work directly with, the Regional Director. 

 

This role involves:

 

1        Consultative, Relationship Management

2        Business Development

3        Market Strategy Development

 

     There are elements of marketing, sales, entrepreneurship, territory management, etc. combined into one role! Travel, exceptional compensation, and relationship building opportunities are also additional positives. This individual will be involved with a high-performing, fast-paced team. This individual will join the highest grossing team in the nation for this division.  

 

Preferred experience includes a 4-year college/ university degree. Preferred degree in marketing/ business engineering/communications/ (or related areas). Demonstrated leadership in previous organizations/ work environment.  

 

Communication skills, building rapport easily, and social skills are a must. This individual should demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively, manage relationships, identify and solve problems, and drive exceptional results.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
• Develop new business opportunities by building professional relationships.
• Utilize specialized software tools to qualify prospective clients and determine which opportunities to pursue.
• Educate clients on performance contracting and project financing options.
• Maintain long-term client relationships.
• Develop and implement effective sales strategies.
• Collaborate with engineers to prepare project work scopes and cost estimates.
• Prepare and submit sales quotations and proposals.
• Generate and conduct sales presentations.
• Represent Schneider Electric at conferences and trade shows.

Qualifications

 

 

QUALIFICATIONS

Candidates that have been demonstrated skill set to be successful in a conceptual sales or service sales role will be considered. To be successful in this position you must have the ability to relate to internal and external clients at all levels, and to communicate both on a technical and non-technical basis. Excellent initiative, interpersonal and organizational communication skills are expected.

Minimum requirements and qualifications include a Bachelors Degree or equivalent related work experience. Candidates must have a demonstrated excellence in the areas of: sales, time management, verbal and written communication, working in a team environment, business acumen, negotiation, contracts, decision making, initiative, reliability and professional relationship building. Proficiency in various Microsoft Office programs such as Outlook, Excel and Word as well as familiarity with utilizing a CRM tool such as Salesforce.com is required.
