We are hiring an Auction Coordinator within our Remarketing Department.

About this Position:
* Accountable for the reconditioning and sale of vehicles at a nationwide network of auto auctions.
* Manage a 500-1000 vehicle inventory across 10+ auto auctions and assist with performance management of the auction both to drive the highest possible net return for the customer and thus Credit Acceptance.
* Ensure that the auctions (service providers) are performing work in compliance with contractual expectations and represent Credit Acceptance professionally, compliantly and cost-effectively.

Our Auction Coordinator Team Members:
* Develop and maintain effective auction relationships through prospecting, hiring, managing and terminating auctions.
* Understand and research vehicle resale market conditions for assigned network of auctions.
* Review and assess the condition of vehicles and determine which repairs/reconditioning to authorize.
* Manage the sale of vehicles at auction through scheduling, setting minimum prices, representing vehicles during auction to authorize the sale, and resolving pre and post-sale issues and problems.
* Conduct periodic inventory audits with each auction utilizing on-site auction visits in addition to internal and internet-based tools.
* Ensure the transportation and/or delivery of vehicles to auction facilities when auctions are involved.
* Answer questions from auctions and internal Credit Acceptance departments.
* Monitor adherence to Statutory Notice and Compliance requirements by conducting site visits, initial due diligence, and annual service provider compliance audits.

Position Qualifications:
Required:
* Minimum 3 years of experience in remarketing vehicles
* Experience in vehicle repair and estimating experience
* 10-20% travel

Preferred:
* Associate Degree
* Previous leadership or coaching experience
* Certified Automotive Remarketer (CAR) designation from the International Automotive Remarketers Alliance (IARA)

Required degrees must have been earned at institutions of Higher Education which are accredited by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation or equivalent.

Pay Rate: US$60000 - US$61000 per year + uncapped bonus
