Entry Level Engineer/Staff Professional

S&ME, Inc. is hiring entry-level professionals to perform technical assignments under the coaching of mid-to-senior professionals. The Entry-Level Engineer/Staff Professional performs a variety of tasks, which should develop knowledge and abilities required to apply standard techniques, procedures and criteria, and which also provide experience and familiarization with the staff, methods, practices and programs of the company. Typical duties and responsibilities may include but not be limited to: writing proposals and reports on routine projects with senior review by licensed professional, analyses of work according to standard procedures on simple projects or on parts of more complex projects, competence in field inspections and characteristics of typical design systems, review of data furnished by lab or field staff and for correctness of own data.
S&ME has locations across twelve (12) states: North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Florida, Alabama, Louisiana, Virginia, Kentucky, Ohio, Virginia, and Pennsylvania.
Requirements:
BS/MS in Civil or Environmental Engineering, or a related field
0-3 years’ experience
EI certification preferred
