Our Visual Analytics Practice is looking for an interactive data visualization developer to implement custom visualizations, primarily with D3. The main responsibilities of the position are to work with the visualization design team to define an interactive visualization, and then create the front-end visualization to be deployed in a web browser.
The required skills/attributes are:
- HTML5, CSS3, and JS
- ES6, Node, and NPM
- Git and Webpack
- Experience building visualizations and dashboards with d3.js or a similar library
- Knowledge of data visualization, UI, and UX design practices
- Interest in data analytics
- Experience with responsive desin
- Familiarity with frameworks like AngularJS, Bootstrap, and jQuery
- Familiarity with visual design tools like Illustrator, Sketch, etc. for mock ups
