Project Engineer/Estimator

Requirements for the position:          

·     Personable, competent, professional, organized, dependable, flexible

·     Proficient in Microsoft Word/​Excel, and MS Project

·     Excellent written and verbal communication skills

·     Total and complete focus on customers

Ideal Candidate would have some or all of the following:

·     Construction Management, Engineering or related college degree

·     Experience in or exposure to our lines - Institutional/Hospital/Industrial & Water Treatment

·     Certifications: OSHA 30 hour, First Aid/CPR, LEED AP, MUST Modules

·     Trade experience a plus

·     Military service a plus

Responsible for:  

·     Supporting project managers, superintendents & estimating teams with the goal of building positive relationships with the customer

·     Learning and managing the Procore project management system for specific jobs

·     Managing and maintaining project documentation – safety, RFI, submittal, photo, correspondence, server setup, quotes, change orders, OM Manuals, project closeout

·     Providing general assistant to the superintendant

·     Layout in field, detail concrete forms

·     Manage the bid/estimating process effectively from initial acquisition of plans to field transition

·     Manage all details of takeoff, pricing, bidding processes along with subcontractor relations, cost, budget issues and stakeholder demands

·     Administer the contractual aspects of the project bidding process to include log, paperwork, physical site visits, forms, takeoffs and quality checks

·     Proactively communicate information to stakeholders to ensure successful project completion
