Entry-level Insurance Specialist

Trumbull Services, which is part of EXL Service (NASDAQ: EXLS), is a global end-to-end Insurance Administration provider with Life, Annuity, Health, and Property & Casualty operations. (While not an insurer itself, EXL works on behalf of insurance companies across the globe.) EXL was incorporated in 1999 and has since grown to be one of the leading insurance service provider companies with its 20,000 employees across US, India, The Philippines, Malaysia, Czech Republic, Romania and Bulgaria. We are looking for ambitious and smart individuals to join one of our teams in San Antonio, TX.

Qualifications:

·         Must live within driving distance of San Antonio, Texas

·         Strong interpersonal, verbal,  written communication skills

·         Excellent organizational and time management skills

·         Ability to multitask and adapt to change in a fast-paced environment

·         Accuracy and attention to detail

·         Proficient with technology

·         Able to type at least 45 wpm

·         Good mathematical skills

·         A college degree preferred, insurance claims experience optional

·         Ability to review a claim and think critically about next steps

·         Strong analytical and judgment skills when reviewing claims with limited information

·         Ability to comprehend  notes on claims thru context

Responsibilities:

·         Review reported claims to determine subrogation potential

·         Have working knowledge of multiple job functions to assist team leader when needed

·         Assist the team leader by training new employees or those transitioning to the ID role from the processor role

·         Maintain professional appearance and attitude at all times while in the client’s office
