Clinical Research Summer Internship
Michigan Center of Medical Research welcomes applications from motivated individuals looking to enhance their academic and professional skills and bolster experience in health care and clinical research with a summer internship. This opportunity is excellent for students planning to enter medical school, nursing school, PA school or other medical training programs.
The Clinical Research Assistant will work closely with the Clinical Research Coordinator and with current staff facilitating data entry and patient visits as needed.
The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in health science or technology or will be on a program to complete his or her degree. Applicants will be driven to excel in the fast-paced research industry. Ability to relate well to patients and colleagues is a must for our close-knit team.
Prior clinical experience is preferred. Valid driver’s license required

Required education:
Bachelor's or Highschool/GED Diploma
Data entry, filing of regulatory/safety reports/misc., answering queries, completing source documents, scheduling patients, patient visit reminder calls, outgoing/incoming mail, send patient payments if needed, send misc. payments, clerical work with some patient experience
