Summer Intern - Corporate Finance & Portfolio Management

Welltower Inc. offers accomplished students the opportunity to intern through one of our four engaging summer programs. Each program focuses on a core set of skills and business processes, allowing candidates to focus on their primary area of interest and best utilize their talents. Our programs span ten weeks and provide students with the opportunity to: directly interact with our senior management team, assume ownership of significant projects, and experience personal and professional growth and development, all within a culture that rewards ambition and drive.

Corporate Finance & Portfolio Management Internship. Our Corporate Finance & Portfolio Management program focuses on our Corporate Finance and Portfolio Management teams. It allows interns to build upon their basic finance knowledge in a real-world setting. The Corporate Finance team is responsible for determining and managing our corporate capital structure, building and managing our relationships within the broad investment community, and plays a critical role in determining how and when we raise and deploy capital. The Portfolio Management team is responsible for the financial planning, accurate data compilation and evaluation, and continuous measurement and feedback for the entire seniors housing portfolio. The team provides actionable data-driven decision points and facilitates active portfolio management.

Intern responsibilities will include assisting with: compiling property and portfolio level financial data; financial statement and metric analysis; maintaining company financial models and forecasts; the review of equity analyst estimates of company performance and valuation; competitive valuation analysis; and preparation for our quarterly earnings call.
