Guerrilla Marketing Captain

The Black Sheep, the nation’s leading collegiate media company, is expanding and looking for a Guerrilla Marketing Captain. This paid internship is an amazing opportunity for current undergrads to work with local and national brands, while enhancing your leadership, marketing, coaching, delegation, and motivational skills.

Position Description:
As Guerrilla Marketing Captain, you will oversee all of the marketing efforts for both The Black Sheep and our partner clients. You will work directly with our National Marketing Director to craft the most strategic marketing tactics for your campus and with your team.

Time Commitment:
Varies based on client needs; roughly 15-20 hours per month

Desired Skill Set: 
Guerrilla Marketing Captains should be outgoing, personable, organized, timely, have leadership qualities, and have excellent communication skills.
  •  Strong communication and organizational skills are a must, as well as the ability to accurately and continuously meet deadlines 
  •  Friendly, confident, and approachable attitude 
  •  Access to a car/ability to get around and strong knowledge of your campus layout 
  •  Ability to get stealthy – you’re a Guerrilla Marketing Captain! 
Primary Responsibilities:
  •  Work with the National Marketing Director on crafting the marketing plan for The Black Sheep and our partner clients on your campus 
  •  Recruit and manage a team of 3-4 Guerrilla Marketing Team Members
  •  Accurately and properly report and provide feedback on all activities of the Guerrilla Marketing Team on a weekly basis
  •  Organize and conduct street teams, dorm storms, classroom/Greek announcements and other strategic marketing efforts for The Black Sheep and our partner clients
