Publicity Intern

The STARZ publicity team has an excellent summer internship opportunity for someone interested in entertainment publicity to support the department in PR planning and execution.  

Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Stay informed of new or updated journalist contacts, outlet movement, etc.
  • Research coverage of LA Starz Shows; Clip reporting to show leads
  • Launch and Wrap reports of LA Shows (with assistance of PR Coordinators)
  • Compile Show Raves through articles about the show
  • Create tune in alerts, press release, episode tune in emails
  • Talent Relations - Create itineraries, hair and makeup, cars, travel, etc.
Required Skills

 

  • Strong communications skills, organized, and detail oriented
  • Maintain discretion while handling confidential and/or sensitive information
  • Ideally, has had some former PR experience
  • Interest in entertainment and publicity
  • Knowledge of Starz programming
