A Child Support Specialist performs case management duties to assist the Child Support Agency (CSA) in meeting its program responsibilities. Work involves establishing, enforcing, and reviewing child support and medical support obligations, and establishing paternity for non-marital children. A Child Support Specialist conducts pre-trial conferences to determine support level, provides relevant information to parents and other interest parties regarding statutes and procedures, and attends hearings.
