Information Officer 2 - Graphic Designer

This position promotes Minnesota as a travel destination through the graphic design and development for strategic communications programs, including travel publications and website information aimed at consumers/travelers, as well as communications targeted to Minnesota tourism businesses and organizations. This position is part of the communications team implementing an integrated communications program that expands marketing to attract travelers to our state and increases awareness of the tourism industry.

Job Duties:

-Provide graphic art consultation on projects. Layout and design of print and electronic communication and marketing vehicles.
-Prepare all materials for final production, including preparing disk for output, or transfer via FTP or other file-sharing services.
-Produce original artwork, designs and logos that enhance EMT's communication and marketing materials and visually strengthen efforts to reach audiences with information.
-Be knowledgeable of agency's desktop publishing systems, organize, maintain and archive computer and files of each project, keep abreast of new software capabilities and current graphic trends. Coordinate desktop publishing computer hardware repairs and upgrades, and software upgrades and purchases
