Looking for an awesome internship? SpaceWorks Studios is seeking a current undergraduate or graduate student with interest and experience in graphic design and computer science to join our team. SpaceWorks Studios (www.spaceworksstudios.com) consists of a team of professional artists and illustrators who create inspiring digital artwork, renders, illustrations, and animations for the aerospace, space, and aviation communities.

Interns at SpaceWorks work closely with our full-time staff and are offered an inside look at what it is like to work in the aerospace industry. As part of our Studios art team, the SpaceWorks Studios Intern will assist with website development and design of various aerospace concepts. Applicants should have a strong background in computer science, graphic design, animation, or a related field. A minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale is required.

Skills/qualifications needed:

  • Highly motivated and detail-oriented person with good communication skills and a passion for the web
  • Proficiency in web development technologies, including HTML, CSS, Javascript, and PHP
  • Experience with WordPress
  • Knowledge of Adobe Suite (Photoshop and Illustrator)
  • Ability to communicate ideas through sketches or written word

Additional Bonus Skills:

  • Experience with 3D software – Maya or 3DS Max
  • Knowledge of the Greensock JS library
  • Knowledge of the fundamentals of animation
