Sr. Human Resource Generalist

Sr. Human Resource Generalist:  The Grand Rapids Housing Commission is seeking an individual to fill the position of Sr. Human Resource Generalist.  This individual is responsible for the general administration of personnel and benefits, policy and procedure, training and development, legal compliance, back up payroll and all other human resources functions.  Requirements:  Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or equivalent and two-years of full-time work experience in Human Resources.  Must be able to plan, organize and make independent decisions reflecting sound judgment.  Communicate effectively with staff; resolve conflicts; develop policies and procedures; conduct research and analyze complex issues and recommend appropriate resolutions.  Must demonstrate knowledge of employment related acts, laws, and regulations.  Must be able to use computer software, such as Microsoft office.
