Social Media Marketing / Content Creation

Do you have a firm grasp on social media? Do you think you know what people want to see? If you don’t, can you do the research to find out? Are you familiar with social media tools that help with efficiency and monetization? If not, can you learn?

We are putting together a team of social media experts to create rich and unique content. We are looking for people who have a good eye and feel for what people want to see, read and engage in.

Some responsibilities include:

  • Continuously learning and understanding real estate.
  • Researching and staying on top of trends in relation to real estate.
  • Creating unique and engaging content (Photos/Articles etc.) for social media platforms.
  • Canvasing local Chicago neighborhoods for content.

Who am I?

My business is growing and I want to add more people to our team. My name is Johnny Grafft. Professionally I go by ‘John Michael Grafft'. While a student I started a real estate company out of the study rooms in the DePaul Richardson Library in 2009. I woke up early every morning and bunkered down in a study room I called my office. I kept our inventory of keys in one locker and all our marketing material in another. I took every dollar I had and bootstrapped the company. We focused on helping students find apartments and this was before everyone and their cousin was renting out apartments. This was at the bottom of the recession. A time so bleak that it felt like Chicago Winter during Summer. That is the time I chose to start a company.

Since then I’ve been recognized as a top producer in Chicago, top 1% of Berkshire Hathaway agents in the world, and honored as a 30 under 30 in the USA.

Today we’re selling new construction homes, converting churches to condos, designing 5-unit private elevator buildings, and of course, still renting apartments. I’ve been working in the real estate industry since I was 17 and haven’t done anything since. You’ll learn from my mistakes and the hundreds of thousands of dollars I’ve lost or didn’t attain along the way. The work is challenging, rewarding, and sometimes monotonous, but it’s always scratched the itch I have. I hope it does the same for you.
