Entry Level Digital Marketing Analyst

The people we hire into this role will have in-depth training and practice in SEM/PPC and SEO and will be able to truly become digital marketing experts. For the SEM/PPC side, the ability to quickly learn and successfully utilize tools to analyze, optimize, and communicate data is essential. In this role, communication skills and attention to detail are a must. Analysts will be expected to become experts in SEM and social media advertising while creating, implementing, and optimizing online campaigns for clients across a number of channels, including Google, Bing, Facebook, and more. Analysts are also in control of project management, providing strategy direction and data insights while working with our team to drive successful results for clients (for SEM and SEO work).

 

Similarly, for SEO-related work, analysts are responsible for the planning and execution of search engine optimization campaigns. The ability to successfully use SEO tools and analyze and communicate performance will be key to both the more technical aspects, as well as the content side of SEO. Analysts will audit website code to ensure that search engines are able to crawl and index important pages on the domain. Our analysts are also relied upon to create content that is compelling to users and search engines alike.

Essential Job Functions:

Research, plan, and create ad accounts for clients in a variety of industries

Work expertly within Google Adwords/Analytics, Bing Ads, Facebook Ads, etc.

Provide SEO testing roadmap and recommendations

Optimize websites to improve efficiencies and increase volume of conversions-Analyze key metrics, discern key findings, and optimize to drive successful outcomes in accounts

Advanced data analysis in Microsoft Excel

Work with our copywriter to create concise ad copy for a variety of clients

Collaborate with clients to devise new and exciting marketing initiatives

Create weekly/monthly reports with analysis of campaign performance along with recommendations for improvements

Serve as point of contact and project manager for clients with client-facing communication

Understand client objectives and business goals to identify current client campaign optimization and expansion opportunities

Keep up-to-date on emerging online marketing strategies, tools, and best practices

Manage and prioritize multiple accounts simultaneously

Work with fun people in a fun atmosphere; advanced ping pong skills are a plus

 

 

 

Qualifications:

Highly analytical with strong critical thinking skills

Data analysis experience, either in previous employment or coursework

Excel experience preferred

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Working towards bachelor's degree

Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment

Some digital marketing knowledge preferred
