Lassen High School is looking for a Science teacher for the 2018-2019 school year, to teach courses such as Earth Science, Anatomy/Physiology, etc. in accordance with the Next Generation Science Standards. The Lassen Union High School District is located in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada Mountains in Susanville, CA, which is approximately 2 hours from Redding, CA or 1.5 hours from Reno, NV.

The District pays $1,000 per month towards the benefit package for full-time teachers. In addition to teaching positions, there are numerous coaching positions available paid via stipend. Beginning the 2018-2019 school year, all new teachers who sign teaching contracts with Lassen Union High School District will be paid a $2,500 signing bonus. After successful completion of the first year, the new hire will be paid an additional $2,500 for a combined total of $5,000.
