MLT's Deloitte Audit & Assurance Fellowship

Management Leadership for Tomorrow's (MLT) long-standing supporter, Deloitte, is launching a fellowship for underrepresented minority, African American, Native American, LatinX, sophomores or juniors who are Accounting majors. This is an opportunity to participate in a new career and leadership development experience within Deloitte’s Audit & Assurance Business. The fellowship provides intensive coaching, the opportunity for two immersive internships at Deloitte, and the possibility of a full-time offer from Deloitte upon graduation.

Candidates must be pursuing a Bachelor of Science/Business Administration or a related field with definitive plans for meeting the minimum requirements for CPA eligibility to sit for the CPA in 2020. A strong academic track record and demonstrated verbal and written communication skills are also required. Candidates must be adaptable, demonstrate confidence and, sound judgment and possess strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

The Audit & Assurance Fellowship allows you to gain experience with Deloitte, one of the largest professional services organizations in the world.

Each Audit & Assurance Fellow is assigned a Deloitte coach, who will provide support and direction throughout the experience. The coach will collaborate with MLT Career Prep coaches to guide you through the Career Prep curriculum, with an Audit & Assurance focus.

Beyond exposure to industry leading practices and “real life” projects, the Audit & Assurance Fellowship delivers a variety of national and local training and networking events. Throughout the program, there are ongoing learning modules and regularly scheduled training events, each designed to cultivate technical and client service skills. The Audit & Assurance Fellowship also includes a formal goal-setting and evaluation process.

Additional mentor-mentee relationships, both formal and informal, are often formed during an internship. These relationships can extend beyond the summer and offer a great way to stay connected to Deloitte while back on campus.
