CHICAGO, IL: Supply and Trading - Trader Development Program
The Trading Program supports our Oil, Residuals, Distillates, Natural Gas, Power and NGL business in Houston and Chicago. Trading provides BP’s external face to the financial markets. We trade on all of the major energy commodity exchanges as well as in the OTC market. Traders will develop and execute trading strategies, manage risk, and optimize BP’s assets. Throughout the Trading program you will learn the necessary skills to gather interpret and act on data while monitoring risks.

Your Development – Graduate Development Program (GDP) and Trader Development
Program (TDP) Supply/Marketing, Analytics and Trading has two businesses in the
United States, one in Houston, TX and one in Chicago, IL. The location based in
the energy corridor of Houston, TX and the BP US headquarters, focuses on
natural gas, natural gas liquids, power, and structured products. The business
in Chicago, IL focuses on oil and refined products. Supply/Marketing and
Trading offers graduate rotation programs in disciplines including analytics,
marketing and origination, and trading. Trading and Analytics paths are offered
in both businesses, while marketing and origination is offered in Houston only.
Program Basics All graduate rotation programs in all disciplines are designed
to be: • A series of 1 year rotations, lasting for a total program of 3 years •
Competitive, with rigorous assessment and performance management throughout •
Robust, giving graduates a wide exposure to our business • Supportive,
supplemented by a learning and development offer, mentor and buddy system, as
well as on the job training • Given exposure to both the Houston and Chicago

Minimum Requirements
• Must have cumulative and major GPA of 3.2 or higher
• BP will not support US Immigration sponsorship for full-time or long-term employment
