Freelance Podcast Producer/Editor
Our team is looking to hire a freelance podcast editor to join us and help with story/script for an interactive audiobook/podcast project that follows three LGBT+ individuals from the revolution in Egypt through their asylum in Europe.We will need the Contractor to edit transcripts of collected interviews into a
script that will then be turned into a 45-60 min podcast-style audio
companion for our interactive digital book.
An ideal candidate would have experience with podcast producing and editing, have work in or with Egypt or the Middle East in general.
• Timeline – When does the work need to be completed by? How many revisions?
The contractor should be ready to start April 15th, piece should be completed by May 15th. Three Revisions.
• Deliverables – What exactly is the freelance/independent contractor supplying, quantity, and how should the work or services be delivered?
Contractor will deliver a script hat will then me turned into a 45-60 min podcast-style audio companion for our interactive digital book.
• Usage – How will the work be used, in what formats, and where? Who owns the work?
The script will then be produced, recorded and used as an audio companion for our interactive digital book.
• Payment – How do you plan to pay the freelancer/contractor and what portion can you pay in advance?
We make contracts with all hired staff and contractors are paid upon delivery. Deadlines and deliverables are clearly outlined in the contract.
• Contract – Will you be entering into a legal binding contract where both parties are responsible?
Yes.
It is possible to work remotely.
