Torchlight Investors Summer Internship Program
Program Description
The Internship Program will provide an introduction to Torchlight Investors, an investment manager of commercial real estate related since 1995.
Since its inception, Torchlight has acquired over $20 billion in commercial real estate debt investments. Torchlight has $4 billion of assets under management. For over two decades, the founding principals have focused on maximizing the firm’s core strengths in research, underwriting and surveillance.
An 8 week program starting June 4, 2018, the intern will be introduced to:
- Commercial real estate debt underwriting and surveillance
- Investment management
- Various commercial real estate products including commercial mortgage backed securities, senior loans, mezzanine loans and equity
- Distressed debt workout
- Fund marketing and investor relations for institutional investors
The intern will work alongside experienced Torchlight analysts and will be provided with opportunities to meaningfully contribute to the team.
Interns will be competitively compensated.
Qualifications
- Currently in pursuit of a bachelor degree or a recent undergraduate
- Team oriented attitude with a genuine interest in commercial real estate
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Preferred Skills: MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint
