Elementary Counselor

Candidates should have effective knowledge of implementing positive behavioral interventions and expectations, conflict resolution strategies and state policy and laws affecting the management of student behaviors.  Candidates should have experience in a comprehensive school counseling program including monitoring student academic performance, behavior and attendance, facilitating appropriate interventions and knowledge of outside agencies. 

Elementary K-5 certification and School Counselor certification/credentials, or willingness to immediately enter into a program, required.  All applicants must be appropriately certified and highly qualified.  It is desirable that candidates are collaborative, student focused and passionate about education.
