Secondary Science Teacher

JOB TITLE:                  SECONDARY SCIENCE TEACHER 
                                     1.0 FTE – 2.0 FTE                                     

QUALIFICATIONS:   

   Required:           

                                      •    Valid State of Michigan secondary teaching certificate

    Desired:                  

                                      •    Science Endorsement (DX or DI) Biology (DA) Physics (DE) Chemistry (DC)

                                      •    Experience teaching high school students

                                      •    Knowledge in instructional practices for varied learning styles and individual needs

                                      •    Ability to integrate technology into instruction

                                      •    Enthusiastic, flexible, and able to work cooperatively with students, parents, teachers and administrators

                                      •    An appreciation for diversity and a desire to assist all students in becoming
cross-culturally competent

                                      •    Ability to motivate and inspire young people

           •    Excellent organization and communication skills (written, verbal, & listening skills)
