Basic Purpose
Responsible for researching specific industry contacts at specific organizations or within geographic areas for targeted business development initiatives.
Principal Accountabilities
  • Locate and make contact with individuals within certain organizations and regions who meet established criteria. 
  • Log activity and progress in a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.
  • Coordinate with Business Development Manager and Business Development Director.
  • Provide internal reports on activities, accomplishments, challenges, recommendations.
  • Research using online tools and telephone inquiries.
Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to conduct online and telephone based targeted research.
  • Ability to work in office located at 789 N. Dixboro Road, Ann Arbor, MI  48105.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.
Additional Details

Physical Demand:

  • Required to sit for long periods of time.
  • Moderate physical effort required (ability to move 20-35 lbs from one area to another).

Work Environment:

  • Work is performed in an office environment.
  • Smoke free work environment.
