Evaluations Associate

Duties include the evaluation and in some cases, the translation of international qualifications (e.g., certificates, diplomas, degrees, transcripts, and resulting licenses) for purposes of further study, employment, professional licensing, registration and/or immigration purposes. Based upon the research conducted, associates are then expected to produce comprehensive and well written reports with the assistance of experts. Associates must also work with clients in understanding the specific nature of the research required for the project.

The position requires individuals with high energy, strong writing skills, an ability to communicate effectively, and an entrepreneurial spirit. Critical thinking and analysis capabilities are necessary as well as an interest for international and multicultural matters. Candidates must be ambitious and motivated in their work. The ability to understand complex processes and to be detail oriented is a must. Proficiency in Excel, Access and Word and fluency in more than one language are a big plus.

Duties also include the maintenance of essential office tasks that contribute to the overall functionality of the New York office. The Evaluations Associate is expected to complete all steps involved with the distribution process of applications/evaluations on a daily basis. You will be expected to perform a myriad of clerical tasks, including but not limited to assisting customers with inquires over the telephone and in-person, office consultations, emailing, packaging files upon completion, and maintaining office supply inventory. Duties also include monitoring the conference supply inventory (folders, handouts, conference giveaways, etc.) and bundling conference materials for shipment to exhibitor booth locations. The Evaluations Associate will be well-versed in company policies and standards and is expected to communicate effectively with customers about pricing standards.
