Due to our steady growth, we have an immediate need for a NVH Engineer who will take ownership over a variety of challenging assignments.  This NVH Engineer will lead full vehicle and component NVH testing in an effort to validate new part designs.  This position is primarily responsible for ensuring that scheduled tests in NVH Chassis Dyno labs are run successfully. Assignments would include: allocating resources as necessary; reviewing and analyzing test results and data; maintaining a safe test lab environment; supporting facility operations and equipment; and serving as liaison between lab technicians and engineering management.  The position is located at our Dearborn, MI facility.

Qualifications

·        Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or automotive engineering (or equivalent)

·        Must have 6 months’ minimum of automotive testing or mechanical test lab experience

·        Strong organizational and technical communication skills – both written and verbal

·        Strong computer experience including MS Office Suite

·        Demonstrated ability to analyze and plot data with MS Excel or specialized software

·        Must be a self-starter, willing to take on operational challenges and coordinate technical resources

Preferred Skills

·        Experience conducting NVH Chassis Dyno testing in on-highway automotive applications

·        Coursework focused on automotive NVH principles and/or test methods

·        Demonstrated ability to schedule/monitor tests and make suggestions regarding best use of lab resources
