A multiemployer health benefits plan, located in downtown Detroit, Michigan, has an immediate opening for a Communications Specialist. The desired candidate will support all communication efforts and will have the opportunity to learn about the healthcare industry.  

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, English, or Journalism. 
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat.

  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Self-confidence and motivated from within.
  • Curious and desirous of achieving in-depth understanding.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, sometimes under pressure, and willing to learn and take on additional responsibilities as needed.
  • Adaptable to change and driven to professional advancement.

  • Must be drug and nicotine-free.
