Medical Internship
• Review account activity in our MedCollEx system
• Assist logging incoming appeals.
• Review medical records
• Research insurance carrier’s policies
• Research experimental procedures and document when and how a carrier would consider them for payment.
• Data entry into our MedCollEx system.
• Interact regularly with Medical Team, other business units and senior leaders within the organization.
• Observe key business practices such as weekly team meetings and quarterly company meetings.
• Deliver a final presentation to Program Managers and other managers regarding the internship program.
• Other duties and projects as assigned.
