Account Manager - Benefits Administration

The Benefits Administration Account Manager role can be the beginning of a successful career in Insurance consulting.

The Account Manager's (AM) primary responsibilities are to build, maintain and test client benefit enrollment sites powered by bswift; import and analyze data; and represent CCG's Benefits Administration team as a contact to our direct clients, internal team members and partners.

Duties include:
  • Help  manage and provide technical guidance through the implementation of new client enrollment sites.
  • Build client enrollment sites based on benefit plan offerings; understanding benefit plan eligibility rules, contract details and monthly pricing.
  • Test client sites for quality assurance; track and monitor resolution of issues.
  • Audit data from various sources, analyze and understand data elements from carrier partners and clients.
  • Continually manage and update sites as requirements change each year or as often as needed; which includes but is not limited to: benefit class matrix, required documents, permissions, field options, site text and any open options.
  • Conduct technical/product presentations, demonstrations and training as needed.
  • Obtain and import data into the bswift system, ensuring data from carriers is accurate and uploaded according to system requirements using excel.
  • Maintain client relationship, manage expectations and timelines effectively; understand their overall objectives and requirements.
  • Manage workflow in the setup and maintenance of carrier and payroll connections.
  • Serves as internal point of escalation for issues, questions, etc. related to the benefit administration system.
  • Handle any special projects as assigned by management by seeking clear direction and following through.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree from four-year College or university. 
  • Must be proficient in Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Basic Functionality). 
  • Good written/verbal communication skills and the ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical personnel; ability to listen, clarify and respond well to questions 
  • Ability to operate and make timely decisions in an ambiguous, fast-paced atmosphere. 
  • Must be able to quickly sort through complex subject material. 
  • Strong analytical skill-set and ability to effectively use data for strategy. 
  • High level of productivity, reliability, responsibility, attendance, dependability, organization and accuracy/thoroughness. 
  • Ability to take initiative to meet challenges with resourcefulness and new innovative approaches while maintaining a high level of quality. 
  • Must possess a passion for teamwork, client service and reaching business results through problem solving.
