QUALIFICATIONS:            

Required:                   

·        Valid State of Michigan Teaching Certificate

·        Physical Education and Health Endorsement: MX

Desired:

·        Enthusiastic, flexible, ability to work cooperatively with students, parents, teachers, and administrators

·        Ability to motivate and inspire middle school students

·        An appreciation for diversity and a desire to assist all students in becoming
cross-culturally competent

·        Ability to transform instruction through the creative use of technology

·        Knowledge in instructional practices for varied learning styles and individual student needs

·        Skilled at teaching subject content in an integrated manner

·        Excellent organization and communication skills (written, verbal, and listening skills)

·        Understands, values, and positively responds to the unique developmental traits of middle school students

·        Ability to motivate and inspire young learners to lifetime fitness

·        Demonstrated leadership in physical education curriculum

·        Experience teaching middle school students

  

SALARY:                               Per Contract Schedule
