Administrative Assistant

Purpose: Currently seeking a self-motivated, customer-oriented, determined administrative assistant to work directly with our internal staff, client's and customers to create a friendly environment. The ideal candidate must be detailed and quick learner. They will be assisting recruiters, greeting guests and managing several projects. The ideal candidate will provide administrative support to recruiters, pay close attention to detail, screen calls, make appointments, and handle any issues with prescribed authority while keeping relationships with potential candidates and clients.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • The administrative assistant will screen calls, make appointments, and answer employee questions
  • The administrative assistant must provide employee guidance to complex and difficult situations
  • They must process, verify, and maintain employee personal related documents
  • The administrative assistant must examine and assemble employee files
  • They must help recruiters and team members meet goals and deadline
  • The administrative assistant will read, research, and route correspondence and composing letters and documents
  • They will assist on special projects by performing and coordinating appropriate tasks in a timely manner
  • The administrative assistant will facilitate information flow by serving as a liaison between manager and/or clients and/or customers and/or others.
  • Work with senior recruiters and president in handling the details of all business, which includes presenting, selling, placing job orders, scheduling interviews, posting jobs, creating job descriptions, interviewing, reference checks and other duties as requested.

Education:

  • Associates or Bachelor’s degree in a Business related field or equivalent experience preferred


Experience:

  • 0-3 years of administrative assistant experience required

Knowledge/Skills and Abilities Required:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs
  • Be able to meet project driven deadlines
  • Effective organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize
  • Confidentiality, confidence, and excellent interpersonal skills
  • Effective listening, verbal and written communication skills
  • Self-starter and keep up with a fast-pace environment
