Transportation Research Internships
The University of Michigan Transportation Research Institute (UMTRI) and the Michigan Economic Development Corporation (MEDC) are partnering to introduce a new internship program which provides undergraduate students with practical research and work experience related to emerging careers.
Students with junior or senior status at any Michigan college or university are eligible to apply. Interested candidates will fill out an application form, upload their resume, and identify up to three projects of interest from a posted list of projects. Projects may involve computational modeling, data analysis, programming, literature review, or laboratory testing related to automated and connected vehicles, human occupant safety, mobility, driver behavior, and other topics.
