Powertrain provides integration of full end-to-end gasoline and diesel engine management systems including fuel handling, fuel injection, combustion, electronic controls, test and validation capabilities, electric and hybrid electric vehicle power electronics, aftermarket and original equipment services. Powertrain designs solutions to optimize powertrain power and performance, while helping customers meet new emissions and fuel economy regulations.

Currently we are hiring a Senior Financial Analyst to work in our Troy, MI location.
 
Responsibilities:
     * Analysis of actuals and forecast for HQ, globally
     * Budget development for headquarters including overhead cost functions
     * Coordinate and consolidate forecast from various regions, staff, accounting group, etc.
     * Tracks and analyzes performance against the financial plan, forecast and prior year
     * Identifies, recommends and implements corrective action plans as required
     * SG&A spend analysis and HQ project tracking and reporting
     * Overhead allocations to divisions/regions
     * Partner with Accounting to gather input and business feedback to incorporate into financial plan
     * Assist with P&L scenario modeling for monthly, and quarterly forecasts
     * Perform variance analysis on monthly and quarterly forecast vs. actual
     * Other ad hoc responsibilities in support of finance and operations
 
Position Requirements
 
Basic Qualifications:
     * Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting
     * 4 plus years of finance experience
 
Preferred Qualifications:
     * MBA
     * CPA/CMA
     * Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with others
     * Self-motivated with the ability to multitask
     * Detail oriented and comfortable working with large data sets
     * Strong data analysis skills; financial/business modeling experience a plus
     * High proficiency in MS Office, particularly with Excel, Access and PowerPoint
