Brand Innovation Internship

What are you passionate about? If it’s creating new ideas and bringing those ideas to life, challenging yourself, and inspiring those around you, combined with an appreciation and appetite for great food, then this could be the perfect job for you.

Sterling-Rice Group, a nationally recognized brand strategy, innovation, and advertising agency, is searching for a Brand Innovation Intern to join our Boulder, Colorado-based team.

Sterling-Rice Group (SRG) is a unique fusion of strategic, analytical, and creative capabilities that has helped build brands and drive growth at companies big (e.g., PepsiCo, Almond Board of California, McCormick, Tyson Foods) and small (e.g., Justin’s Nut Butter, Brewers Association, and Weleda). Founded in 1984, we’ve grown our firm through an integrated combination of capabilities that are unique in the industry.

Perhaps more important than what we do at SRG is how we do it. Before ever having a client, our founders defined the core beliefs upon which SRG would be built: Excellence, Creativity, Education, Honesty, Respect, Social Value, Responsibility, and Fun. For 30+ years, we have measured our performance on these beliefs annually. And because we live these beliefs every day, we’ve been named a Best Place to Work by AdAge in 2016 and 2017, and Outside Magazine for the past seven years.

We are currently looking for outstanding undergraduate students (junior or above) in the areas of marketing, advertising, design, or communications for a full-time summer internship position in product innovation/brand experience.

Candidates must be a current student of a college or university.

As a Brand Innovation Intern, you will work across multiple project teams, assisting our marketing analysts with specific client objectives, helping to organize creative work sessions for new product or brand development, and preparing content and creative stimuli for client meetings, events, and consumer research.

Minimum qualifications include excellent organizational and communication skills, strong initiative, and a deep interest in pursuing a career in product innovation, brand positioning advertising, design, or marketing. Creativity, curiosity, and analytical skills are also important. Ideal candidates will have a strong academic background (please list GPA), some internship or office work experience, and demonstrable Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Passion, interest, or skills in the culinary world are also a plus.

Ideal candidates will be able to work 30-40 hours per week for the summer. The hourly rate for this position will be $11.

Please apply including a cover letter and resume.
