Full-Time Teaching Position - Elementary Art Teacher 2018-19 School Year
REQUIRED
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must possess current Michigan Teaching Certificate
- Must possess an endorsement in Art Education (LX, LQ, or LZ)
- Must meet Michigan Highly Qualified standards
- Michigan Elementary Teaching Certificate preferred
- Experience working with elementary art programs preferred
- Possess skills to effectively teach techniques of art instruction
- Possess strong classroom management skills
- Possess knowledge of differentiated instruction practices and strategies
- Possess positive communication, public relations, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with other staff in the school
- Working knowledge of PLC’s
- Experience working with English Learners and at-risk students preferred
- Willingness to participate in the school’s multi-tiered system of supports
