Product Development Internship

Varroc Lighting Systems is a global automotive supplier providing custom design solutions and innovative product development for exterior vehicle lighting systems, headquartered in Plymouth, Michigan, USA. Our company manufactures world-class lighting created through our leading edge global manufacturing capabilities. 

We are currently seeking individuals wanting to gain hands-on experience in the following area:

• Product Development (Mechanical and Electrical and Product Quality)
  

This internship will provide: 

• The opportunity to take ownership of project and present information to senior leadership at the conclusion of the internship.
• The opportunity to work side-by-side with Varroc employees and provide feedback that will actually create a lasting and profound impact on how we do business on a daily basis.
 

DESIRED COMPETENCIES/EXPERIENCE:  

• Currently pursuing a degree in Mechanical, electrical or related engineering discipline.
• Enrolled in an undergraduate program from an accredited university, preferably second or third year students
• Exhibit strong leadership and presentation skills
• Excellent organizational skills
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Computer proficient with MS Office
• Ability to work both individually and as a team member in a creative and diverse environment
