BERN Intern - Business Development (Summer 2018)

Job Description

Bosch is looking for a highly motivated, self-sufficient, and proactive person to join our team as a BERN Business Development Intern. What is the BERN Program? The Bosch Energy Research Network (BERN) is an eight year, 10 million dollar project aimed at promoting energy research and education. For more information please visit www.BERNProgram.com

Main Responsibilities:

  • Perform market research and help the development of market energy strategy for novel energy efficiency technologies and services related to DC-microgrids.
  • Perform deep dive analysis to understand the energy retrofit market for different commercial segments.
  • Identify key partners for Bosch to help develop strategies for LEED certification, accelerate adoption of technologies.
  • Perform cost/benefit analysis on the DC microgrid compared to alternative approaches.
  • Develop, document, and execute a process for identifying opportunities for the Bosch DC microgrid.
  • Collaborate within the team to identify practical solutions to problems and implement the solutions.
  • Strong customer focus and high level of customer service.

Qualifications

  • Enrolled, pursuing Masters degree in engineering, business administration or economics
  • 1-2 years of analytical, market research experience
  • A minimum 3.0 overall GPA

Preferred:

  • Enrolled, pursuing MBA
  • 1-2 years of experience in controlling and financial reporting
