An entry level auditor conducts reviews and audits of financial records of organizations receiving grants funded by the state Low-Income Energy Assistance Fund (LIEAF) and the federal Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) through the Michigan Energy Assistance Program (MEAP) administered by the Michigan Agency for Energy. Auditor must have knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles and audit procedures. Purpose of this position is to maintain regulatory oversight over awards given to grantee organizations.
